Live Music at the DubHub

Live music is medicine for the mind and food for the soul.

Since its first Open Mic Night in 2017, The Dublin Community Center has developed into a mecca for live music! We feature great live music at the Coffee House and Open Mic on the third Saturday of every month where audience members enjoy cover songs as well as inspirational singer-songwriter debuts.

We enjoy the Open Mic Night so much, we've become "regulars." Great musicians, you get surprised all the time by the talent! Like the young man who did an acoustic version of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. Unbelievable talent at The Hub.

A more informal Song Circle gathering also takes place monthly on the first Sunday of each month from 3 to 5 p.m.  Whether you are a musician, or you just want to listen, you are welcome to share in the fun.  Musicians share favorite songs with the group and bring sheet music of songs with chords (10 copies) to help others play along.  If you don’t have a printer, please send a printable version by the previous Friday to David Mueller.

Throughout the year there are also additional special music events that often sell out to audiences. Music genres range from Folk, Pop, Jazz, the Blues, African drumming, and even a 1940’s jazz lounge! Some events are held inside and others are in the garden behind the building in a relaxed atmosphere. The talent and quality of music is outstanding and has attracted people throughout the entire Monadnock Region and beyond.

Coffee House & Open Mic

This month, we are pleased to feature the White Mountain Rounders. This band embodies classic Americana music, including the work of Bob Dylan, The Band, Doc Watson, and the Allman Brothers Band. The Rounders also bring original work to the table, as well as a focus on vocal harmonies for a memorable listening experience.

Cosy Sheridan Concert

Join Cosy Sheridan and her band at 7pm at the DubHub for an evening of songs and stories. Cosy has played at Carnegie Hall and the Cowgirl Hall of Fame as well as at coffee houses throughout the country. She plays a percussive, bluesy guitar, often in open tunings and occasionally with two or more capos on the neck. Backed by the strong rhythms and harmonies of Charlie Koch on bass and Kent Allyn on keyboard, her concerts are a wide-ranging, entertaining, and tuneful experience. The secure credit card payment link has been established on our website and is ready to use now.  https://www.dubhub-nh.org/cosy-sheridan-concert

Song Circle

All are welcome at Song Circle, which meets the first Sunday of each month from 3–5 pm. Musicians can share favorite songs with the group and are asked to bring sheet music of songs with chords (10 copies) to help others play along, and your instrument if you have one, including your voice!

Coffee House & Open Mic

On the third Saturday of each month, the DubHub hosts a combined Coffee House & Open Mic from 6–9:30 pm. A monthly coffee sponsor provides the java, and sweet and savory snacks are available. Attendees are also welcome to BYOB and dinner/snacks. A featured performance takes place for about 45–60 minutes, with open mic slots available both prior and after.
