The art of woodworker, Franz Feige is on exhibit through March 5th. With over 35 years of experience working with wood, Feige has engaged in many areas of woodworking, including teaching, but always returns to the turned, carved, sculpted, and band-sawn wooden vessel as his main interest. He creates functional pieces as well as those that emphasize beauty and imagination as objects of art, and strives to bring both function and artistic endeavor together in his work.
Recently, he and his wife moved from Long Island, NY to Peterborough, NH, so that he could dedicate himself more fully to this craft that offers so much meaning and joy to his life. There will be a range of work on display, small to large, including bowls, boxes, pencil/brush holders, spoons, candle holders as well pieces that are primarily objects d’art.
This show will remain up for viewing and for purchase through Wednesday, March 5, during DubHub open hours and by appointment. Email info@dublincommunitycenter.org to make an appointment.
